'Plug n Play' Marine Billet Distributors
Plug 'n play billet distributors are designed for maximum ignition performance and easy installation all at a price that you can afford. The Flame-Thrower Marine Billet distributors share many of the performance features that you find in the automotive versions. Marine approved distributors are designed to meet SAE J1171 standards. Each distributor is precision machined for an exact fit. Distributor features include:
Integrated patented Ignitor II technology with adaptive dwell control.
Upper ball bearing and extra long oil impregnated bronze lower bushing work together to reduce friction and high RPM vibration
Adjustable mechanical advance with proprietary limiting functions permits multiple settings
Distributors are factory set with a performance advance curve and additional springs are provided for custom advance curves
Warranty: 30 months electronics / limited 1 year mechanical
FEATURES:
Ignitor II systems develop up to 4x times more energy between 3000 and 5000 RPM than standard ignition systems. High RPM performance is improved when used with the Flame-Thrower II super low resistance (0.6 ohms) 45,000 volt coil (INCLUDED)
Adaptive dwell maintains peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, reducing misfires while improving engine performance
Develops on average 4 times more available energy between 3000 and 5000 RPM, and 2 times more available plug voltage
Peak current level is reached just prior to spark for maximum energy without the heat build-up, increasing coil and module life
Adjusts spark timing at higher RPMs to compensate for the inherent electronic delay
Senses startup and develops more energy for quicker, easier starting. Built in reverse polarity and over current protection shuts down the system, preventing component damage

P/N D200800 + 45111. This distributor comes with a female (socket-type) black cap. If you have any questions about fitment or compatibility, please contact us before purchasing. We have this distributor listed on eBay with a male (stud-type) distributor cap.
